We had already installed a white fan.
It's time to get rid of the yellow-tinged trim and gold door knobs!
The trim is white now and Shawn begins cutting in with the new color.
I follow behind with the roller. We love this paint!
Welcome to our new Guest Room!
We love the white trim/doors and outlets,
and we exchanged the gold hardware for brushed silver.

The closet even got some TLC.
We also replaced the wooden shutters, nice as they are,
with white plantation blinds to let more light into the room.

Moving on to knitting projects, here's my latest. I wasn't sure I would figure it out and didn't completely follow the instructions, but it worked. I even had to learn to crochet a chain so I could do a provisional cast on to add extra stitches to create the elephant's trunk. Here is Baby Harwell's first toy from his/her Mom and Dad!
And in January, I completed my first pair of mittens. I followed the pattern exactly and wasn't thrilled that they are so huge, but hey, it was fun to work on!

Well I don't like to paint, but I want to stay in the new guest room -- and the sooner the better! :) The room looks fantastic. Such a huge difference. The color makes all the other colors in the room really pop. And of course you already know how I feel about baby Harwell's new toy! :) So proud of you guys!!
The bedroom looks great you guys! Good work.
Awesome upgrade, two thumbs up :)
Love the little elephant! Do you sell your wares on etsy?
